Hello Again
Beloved,
Some of you have walked with me here for quite some time. Others may be newer to this little corner of the vineyard. Either way, welcome.
It has been a long season of intermittent silence from me. In recent years, life brought profound challenges, unexpected limitations, and stretches of quiet that I did not anticipate.
After 28 years of ministering within the Body of Christ, I have observed that there are seasons when ministry looks public and visible, and there are seasons when much of the work takes place in hidden places—where the Lord tends wounds, restores strength, refines perspective, and reminds us that our worth is never rooted in activity.
Some things can only be forged in silence. Some lessons can only be learned in weakness. And some messages are born from wrestling, prayer, waiting, and the faithful persistence of God.
Outposts emerged from such a season. This little book has lived in notes, conversations, prayers, questions, and quiet moments for a very long time before finally finding its way into print. I didn’t write it to make noise, but to stir sleeping embers—to remind believers who we are, whose we are, and what it means to live as citizens of a Kingdom that is not merely coming someday, but is already making its presence known through willing hearts.
I have no desire to manufacture urgency or chase attention.
But I do feel the quiet, steady nudge to step forward again—to speak when there is something worth saying, to encourage where encouragement is needed, and to continue the work our Lord has set before me in this season.
So consider this a gentle “hello again.” If you have been here all along, thank you. If you are just arriving, welcome.
And if you have ever found yourself weary, wondering whether hidden seasons still matter to God, take heart. Seeds germinate underground long before anyone sees green shoots.
Abba, our Heavenly Father, wastes nothing.
