This vision is concerning Yeshua’s/Jesus’s Church.
In the dream, I was following Jesus here on earth, but it was this current time in 2022.
There were a lot of professing Christians around, but most were not looking for Jesus; they were busy looking at the sky because they were expecting Him to take them all away.
Jesus was dressed in White, but a certain group of Christians, who were busy watching the sky for His return, were wearing white and royal blue. They were very proud of their white and royal blue garments. This was how they recognized each other – it was like their uniform; “Oh, you’re one of us, and we are King’s kids, and we’re about to fly away.”
These people could not discern or truly see Him and were not aware that the One they were hoping would rescue them, was walking among them. He was as near to all of us as He was to His disciples when He walked the earth, in the days before His death and resurrection.
I saw my Lord Jesus’s face. It was very plain, not attractive, but it was so much more than just the physical aspect of a face that I saw; He looked in my eyes, and I saw His disappointment, pain, love, patience, anger, and mercy, and I received a sense of Him preparing to do what would need to be done soon. This was concerning His Church's judgment, not the World's judgment.
Too few who named the name of Christ really looked for Him, and only a few followed Him (in my vision).
I briefly saw one of His servants, Keith Green, had come to visit the white-and-blue-garbed church. He sang these words; “You won’t learn a thing until you soften your heart.” The Christians were so excited that they scheduled a concert for Keith, but they did not pay any attention to the words of the song. But Keith left after singing that one song.
I saw how Christians had built a religion around Jesus, but it did not include or involve Him. Instead, they were gathering a following for themselves, even though they did not mean to. They were disconnected from Him so they could not discern His mind or His will. They thought that their large numbers and team spirit were indications of their success as a church. They weren’t looking for the Lost, but were having a party among themselves, congratulating themselves for believing the “correct doctrine”.
I felt offended that all of these people who were claiming Jesus was in their midst could not even recognize Him, couldn’t see that they were having a private party, and even He was not invited. I felt jealous for Him and very upset on His behalf.
Then Jesus did something to me that was very painful, he grabbed hold of my right arm, and though it was already in pain, he squeezed it very hard; but even while it was happening, I knew He was beginning to heal me, and I thanked Him for it.
Some of the disciples who were with me, and following the real Jesus, got distracted and drifted toward the ones making all the noise about the coming big event.
I didn’t feel I deserved for Him to even talk to me, but I did not want to leave His side and wanted to be with Him and near Him for as long as He would allow me to stay.
I woke up and wished I could go right back into the vision.
My impressions:
Jesus was preparing to judge His Church. (Judgment begins in the house of the Lord).
Some sects of His Church have “added” to the purity of the Gospel by clothing themselves in garments they were proud of, but were not supplied by Jesus. He said that those who overcome would be clothed in white.
The religious group, who expected to be taken out of the world at any moment, had no concern for the Lost but were busy trying to convince all other believers that their notion of immediate rescue was the only possible truth. They had no LOVE for anyone outside of their group. They were no longer obeying Jesus’ command to GO, but were instead filling the hearts of other believers with fear, thus defiling many in their zeal for their “correct doctrine”.
Impact:
Personal: My experience of this vision was as real as waking life. It was driven deep into my spirit that Jesus is right here, and He knows all about me, yet He is willing to allow me to love Him and follow Him. He is healing what is broken in me, and will not throw me away.
Corporately: I fear for the professing Church because He must prove us and reprove us, and many will fail because they do not know Him, nor do they choose to know Him intimately, nor do they wish to obey Him because they prefer their ICON of Him, their IMAGE of Him.
1 Peter 1:17-19 And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; (18) knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, (19) but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
2 Peter 3:14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless.
We must pray for the Church. Jesus is preparing for Himself a Church, a Bride without spot or wrinkle. He is the only One who can do that work, but we must repent.
Ephesians 5:25-27 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, (26) that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, (27) that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
Conclusion:
It is my fervent prayer that we meditate on these things, and ask the Holy Spirit’s help to become conformed to the will of our Father in Heaven. We must seriously assess our standing in the Body of Christ. Do we usurp the place of Jesus Christ as the Head of His Body, the Church? Are we willing to be corrected and made perfect in unity and faith? We must seek the will of the Lord God, and humble ourselves in His presence.
