Don't Despair, but Armor UP!
I run a news channel on Telegram.
I started to work on today's news cycle and hit a wall. I am in tears—the filth, the degradation that lies in wait to demoralize us, to bring us low. We are in a war, my friends, and we need to take up the whole armor of God so that we do not take on the stain of the battles before us.
When I was young, I had a vision from the Lord. Over the decades, I have looked at this vision from time to time, but never before has it been driven home to me like now. I share it again with you because I am revisiting it now.
The most important parts—the parts that stand out—are Hollywood, child slaves being led underground, oil barrels full of dead (aborted) babies, the Playboy mansion, and the pervasive evil done under cover of darkness. But God said that everything done in the darkness will be brought to light.
The vision God sent when I was 16 prepared me for this fight 50 years ago. I cannot fight with carnal (worldly) weapons, but I have weapons that God has supplied for the spiritual battle. When the spiritual work is complete, the physical reality has to conform.
Don't despair—I say this to my own soul—when you see the devastating darkness, but remember that Jesus told us that WE are the Light of the World because HE is the Light of the World, and WE are in Him.
Sometimes we must draw apart and rest, take our nourishment in the form of soaking in His Word and praying. Sometimes we need to pray and fast. Sometimes we need to worship and praise Him—the JOY OF THE LORD is our strength.
May the Lord give us all HIS joy in the face of this terrible evil, knowing that we cannot fail if He leads us.
Love,
Pastora Cate Covert
